You will be expected to know the highlighted words in your updated Vocab List, which is posted on the Vocab page above.

Only a few of these words will be on the test, but be prepared for all of them. Know the vocabulary and you will know the subject. Vocabulary is how we express its concepts and ideas. The more precise your ownership of the language the more you will own it. Possession, after all, is 9/10ths of the law… 🙂

Some words we have not discussed in class but appear in your textbook. You should look them up. On the exam you will be expected to know the meaning and be able to apply or evaluate the word. Feel free to post questions here.
